Are You Ready?

Become A Web Designer

As a Web Designer at Eternal Works, you will collaborate with our entire team to help implement the vision and roadmap for a group of our clients in an ongoing marketing and development process. 

You will build, manage, and update our clients' websites in alignment with the defined goals and strategy. This includes developing, publishing, updating, and managing web pages, blog posts, landing pages, email templates, and other website-related tasks. 

This is a fun, collaborative role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement front-end web code and design standards for writing clean, semantic code
  • Wireframe and mockup revamped or brand new site pages and present to senior management
  • Collaborate with marketing teammates, senior management, designers, and other project stakeholders
  • Create and optimize our web project management, hitting all deadlines and improving efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality web development
  • Proactively scope and present new ideas to improve our website experience for prospects, leads, and customers
  • Assist with client kickoff and weekly check-in meetings
  • Participate in client interviews to gain background on their company and assist in the writing of scope and strategy 

  • Participate in Eternal Works marketing and creation of content about web design (as a subject matter expert) for social media posts, videos, blogs, and anything else to help increase brand visibility with our targeted audience
  • Assist in the oversight of all HubSpot CMS, WordPress, Shopify, and custom projects for our clients
  • Continuously train and educate yourself based on the tasks at hand through the HubSpot Academy
  • Act as an ambassador for the company internally and externally
  • Research technical and industry trends, identify new directions and opportunities, stay on top of trends and "what's working" in the world of web design
  • Ensure clients have a consistently high Net Promoter Score and mend those relationships that are lacking in 100% satisfaction

What We are Looking for

The Requirements:

  • Either a college degree in a related focus or 3-5 years of web design experience
  • Program management experience (college or extracurricular does count)
  • A passion for continually learning new ways to practice your craft
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills are a must
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams, meets deadlines, and exceed expectations

What We Are Looking For

The Skills Needed:

  • Ability to write HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, & jQuery
  • Converting PSD files (or similar) to HTML & CSS
  • Converting Figma, Adobe XD, or similar to HTML & CSS
  • Build fully responsive/mobile-friendly sites and pages
  • Ability to set up hosting & domain names
  • Ability to launch and publish sites
  • Ability to manage DNS, redirects, and other server-side tasks
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent speed around computers

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position works within a professional office environment with sensitive information and motivated clients. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and mobile devices, and various software.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm EST.  Team members work in the office and remotely.
