Squarespace Website Migration
Squarespace to HubSpot Migration
If your Squarespace site sends leads to HubSpot, it does it through custom code, extra apps and the right Squarespace plan, and Squarespace won't help when any of it breaks. Move your site into HubSpot, and your forms, tracking and leads just work.
The short answer
Eternal Works rebuilds your Squarespace website inside your HubSpot portal for $1,500. Your pages, blog posts and forms move to HubSpot CMS, your old URLs redirect to the new ones, and your email keeps working through the domain change. Your new site is live 2 weeks after you send us your site link, where your email is hosted, and access to HubSpot.

The problem
Why doesn't HubSpot work well on your Squarespace site?
Squarespace has no built-in way to send your leads to HubSpot. Everything HubSpot does on your site depends on custom code, add-on apps and your Squarespace plan. Here's what that costs your business.
01
When HubSpot breaks on your site, nobody will fix it.
HubSpot forms and tracking run as custom code on Squarespace, and Squarespace's help center says, “Our support team can't help you add custom code to your site or troubleshoot issues that arise from using it.” Squarespace Help Center
02
Your Squarespace plan decides whether HubSpot works at all.
Squarespace says, “To add JavaScript or an iframe to a code block, your site needs to be on the Core, Plus, or Advanced plan.” On the Basic plan, you can't add HubSpot forms or tracking. Squarespace Help Center
03
Your leads live in two places.
Squarespace sends form submissions to its own Contacts panel, email, Google Drive, Mailchimp or Zapier. HubSpot isn't one of the options, so you end up with two contact lists and neither is complete. Squarespace Help Center
04
HubSpot sees some pages and not others.
Squarespace says custom code “might not render if you added it to a page in an index page, or if Ajax loading is on.” Visits on those pages never reach HubSpot, so you can't see what brought a customer in.
05
You're paying extra to connect two tools you already pay for.
Sending Squarespace forms to HubSpot takes Zapier, and Squarespace only offers Zapier on its Core, Plus and Advanced plans. When a connection quietly drops a field, you find out from a lead who never heard back.
06
You're locked into Squarespace.
Its export covers only “One blog page, including all of its posts,” leaves out store pages, video and custom CSS, and is built for WordPress, not HubSpot. Squarespace Help Center
If you run marketing
You run two email lists that don't match.
Newsletter sign-ups land in Squarespace or Mailchimp, while your nurture emails run in HubSpot.
Every HubSpot form is a code block to babysit.
Squarespace warns that custom code “might break your site's appearance or behavior, especially on mobile devices.”
Your reports disagree.
Squarespace Analytics shows the traffic, HubSpot shows the leads, and you can't connect a visit to the lead it became.
Launching a campaign page takes a workaround.
A page with a HubSpot form, tracking and a CTA needs code blocks and the right plan, instead of a few minutes in HubSpot.
What it costs
What does it cost to move from Squarespace to HubSpot?
Moving your Squarespace site to HubSpot costs $1,500, one time. That includes your pages and blog, your forms rebuilt in HubSpot, redirects from your old URLs, your email kept working and a wrap-up call before launch. After launch, you can drop your Squarespace plan, plus any Zapier connection you used only to link the two.
Most agencies start HubSpot migrations at $10,000 to $15,000.
